For both patient and carer safety, the Linet Pura beds have a central brake mechanism that activates and deactivates quickly and easily.

The brake has three positions:

  1. STOP - means the brakes are engaged/activated and it is not possible to move the bed in any and all directions.
  2. NEUTRAL - means all castors are unbraked, providing for free rolling movement. It is possible to move and push the bed in any and all desired ways.
  3. GO - means the front left castor works and helps with the steering or the fifth castor is activated and it is not possible to move the bed in all directions or sideways, but it is possible to go forward and backward.
