When configured, the Pura chair has a manual/Mechanical Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) lever that can be used to easily put down the backrest to a flat position. Note: It is possible for the backrest to drop quickly, it is recommended to support the backrest while lowering with one hand as the other pulls the lever.

In the event the manual/mechanical CPR lever is not configured, use the horizontal position button on the Pura Accessory Control Panel (ACP), the first button on the ACP yellow line. The horizontal position button easily flattens the chair while the lowest position can be set afterwards.
