Table of Contents
Mattress Cover
The Opticare X mattress has a special two-zone seamless cover. The mattress cover has a light and dark zone to easily recognise the different zones.
Dark Zone
The dark zone in the middle provides more glide to help with patient positioning. For example, the dark zone can help when repositioning a patient who migrated towards the footboard when the auto contour function wasn't used.
Light Zone
The light zone around the edge zones provides more support and less glide due to an adhesive layer. For example, the light zone adhesive layer and reduced glide can help during patient mobilisation, eliminating the risks of the patient slipping off the bed.
X-ray Sleeve
The Opticare X mattress offers and can be equipped with a special pocket called an X-ray Sleeve. The X-ray sleeve is a special pocket for inserting an X-ray cassette and can help with X-rays while in bed.
Note: The X-ray sleeve can be accessed from both sides of the bed. This allows for a wide range of X-ray cassette placement and insertion.
The Opticare X x-ray sleeve is highly slippery to ensure easy manipulation of cassettes. The X-ray sleeve can be removed from the mattress cover and washed, making it easy to keep things hygienic, before and after use, if necessary.
