How To | Multicare X - Opticare X: Comfort Setting
Learn how to successfully adjust the Opticare X Comfort Setting to suit your preference.
While the Opticare X mattress utilises automatic optimisation, there may be patients that require the comfort setting to be adjusted and the pressure fine-tuned depending on preferences or needs. The pressure can be adjusted depending on the situation and for a more comfortable, customised experience.
The firmness can be easily adjusted by a few millimeters of mercury, in various sections of Opticare X mattress.
To adjust the comfort setting, press the “MATTRESS” tile and activate “OPTIMIZE” mode. Note: If the comfort adjustment icon is not visible/available, use the comfort adjustment under “General Settings”.
The comfort adjustment icon should be right under the mattress picture, to enable Opticare X Comfort Setting.
Parts of the mattress are adjustable with the Opticare X Comfort Setting, allowing a more personalised sleeping experience.
- Section A - for the pressure under the pelvic area.
- Section B - for the pressure/support under the torso or leg areas.
When adjusting pressure for each section, increase or decrease mattress firmness with the plus or minus icons under the respective sections.
Look for the black arrow above pressure level indicators to know the automatically preset optimal pressure of the mattress.
Press the “RE-OPTIMIZE” button to return to auto optimisation when done adjusting specific sections of the mattress. It is recommended to adjust mattress comfort settings and firmness levels based on patient feedback when possible.
