The examination position is used as the easiest way to transition to an ergonomic flatbed position from another position such as cardiac chair.

Many nursing procedures are done in a horizontal position with proper height adjustment. When necessary, initiate the Image 3 Examination Position to enable a better examination of the patient.

Press and hold the examination position button. The examination position flattens and adjusts the bed to the highest position at the same time. The examination position is beneficial for both patient comfort and reducing possible nursing/carer work-related injuries or strain.
