The Image 3 bed offers Ergoframe, a two-pivot point frame design. It helps reduce patient migration to the foot section of the bed and improves pressure redistribution and envelopment by effectively widening the sacral area through simultaneous head and knee elevation.

Begin using Ergoframe by pressing the green go button on the Accessory Control Panel (ACP), then press and hold the autocontour button until the desired bed position is achieved.

The autocontour button prevents the patient from sliding downward while in bed, reducing shear and friction forces. If the patient would like to adjust their own position, it is possible to do the adjustment with the help of the autocontour buttons on the patient handset.
