Unlocking the two safety levers on the corner posts allows for easy removal of both the foot end and the head end.

• Unlock/lock the two safety levers on the corner posts depending on intended usage.
• Lift the footboard or the headboard off the ends of the bed.
• The footboard can be removed when in vascular position or in the examination position of the bed, for foot care, heel assessments, or dressing changes.
• The headboard can be removed during intubation, hair washing, shaving, etc.
• To install the headboard and footboard, slide the bed end into the respective corner slot posts of the bed.
• Double-check to ensure the boards are locked in place.
