The Eleganza 5 same as other Linet beds is good for examinations, procedures, etc. due to its many features.

When performing the passive leg raise test, note the following:

1. Press the green GO button and lower the head of the bed to a flat position.
2.  Using the Knee UP arrow, press and hold the button to gatch the knee as high as possible, as long as the patient in bed is comfortable.
3.  Using the Foot UP arrow to raise the foot section, press and hold the button until the foot section reached the desired height. Note: In bed passive leg raise will allow assessment of fluid responsiveness when utilised.

A passive leg raise test done with the Eleganza 5 allows for a non-invasive procedure and is an assessment performed with sepsis bundles.
