Bringing the Eleganza 5 bed to the mobilisation position, first press the green GO button then press and hold the mobilisation button on the iBoard panel. Mobilisation can be performed together with the side rail override feature and lateral tilt for easier patient egress and ingress of shorter patients.

Mobi-Lift is the Eleganza 5 built-in, sit-to-stand device that allows for active participation by the patient. Locate the Mobi-Lift handle on either side of the bed and raise it to use as a handle and patient support. 

It is also possible for the patient to adjust the height of the bed and raise it to aid while standing. Patients can use the buttons on the Mobi-Lift handle or the carer can help stand the patient up by pressing and using the bed high button on the iBoard panel of the Eleganza 5.

Eventually, when the patient needs to get back into bed, the process can then also be reversed to help lower the patient in bed. Remember to store the Mobi-Lift handles when not in use.
