Perfect for unconscious, immobile patients, "OPTIMIZE" mode can be accessed through the multiboard X screen. The "OPTIMIZE" mode in Opticare X provides maximum immersion and envelopment due to patented technology. Maximum pressure redistribution is ensured under the patient.

To activate, press the “MATTRESS” tile and select “OPTIMIZE”. Note: Complete the Multicare X New Patient Admission procedure and “OPTIMIZE” mode comes as the default mode.

Optimisation and microclimate management start automatically, when the mattress icon is flashing it means Opticare X is currently being optimised for the patient by immersion and envelopment. The mattress will stop flashing and turns green when the automatic procedure has been completed. Additionally, the optimisation process will automatically restart when there is a significant change in the patient's positioning. To manually start re-optimisation, press “RE-OPTIMIZE” button.
