How To | Multicare X - Foot Pedals
Discover how the versatile Multicare X Foot Pedals can help streamline healthcare practice.
The Multicare X foot pedals allow for hands-free control of the patient's bed. Foot pedal controls allow bed tilting, all controlled and adjusted by the carer's foot. For safety, there are bars over the foot controls to prevent unintentional movement.
When the procedure is done in a sterile environment, the foot pedal allows for continued hands-free operation and eliminates the need to touch any surfaces/change gloves. The bed position can be adapted by foot.
Two types of foot controls:
- Height adjustment - for adjusting bed height, to ensure the bed is at a perfect level depending on needs and user comfort. The height adjustment foot controls have the examination position in the middle.
- Lateral tilt adjustment - for adjusting lateral tilt left and right, to optimise comfort and reduce strain for both carer and patient. The lateral tilt adjustment foot controls have the flat and low position in the middle.
Note: To activate the bed, push the foot pedals twice. It will stay active for 20 seconds.
