To manually deactivate the Multicare X iDrive due to battery discharge or any malfunction, continue with manual mobility of the bed using the emergency iDrive Power Wheel Retraction.

Press any of the available green “GO” buttons, then press and hold the emergency retraction button. The emergency retraction button is located and can be found under the chassis cover on the left side of the bed. Press until the fifth wheel is completely retracted.

With the basic powered functions of the bed unavailable, retracting the fifth wheel allows for manual mobility of the bed.
