One button cardiac chair allows for a full upright, or orthopneic position for early mobility. Locate the cardiac chair button on the multiboard X, and Accessory Control Panel (ACP) to get started.

To use the Cardiac Chair function, do the following:

1. Ensure all side rails are raised.
2. Press and hold the chair button until it reaches the highest angle, or check with the patient to go and see how high they can tolerate the chair to go.
   • Note: In case foot board/foot section is extended, it will retract inward on its own to ensure no part of the bed touches or hits the floor.

The cardiac chair function/position has pulmonary benefits and can be used for an upright chest x-ray or for a swallowing study.

Improve patient comfort by lowering the head of the bed. The knee and foot sections of the bed can also be adjusted as needed.

The chair position can be used for dining, helping patients enjoy meals in an upright, seated position.
