When the patient needs to immediately be put in a Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg position, press the Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg buttons. These buttons can be found on the Accessory Control Panel (ACP).

In case of an emergency, the first Trendelenburg button option is a red button that flattens the bed and puts the patient's body head down. The Trendelenburg position is known to assist and may be the first choice during patient collapses connected to lowered blood pressure. Note: The Trendelenburg position is also used during central venous catheter insertion to prevent an air embolism.

Other options for Image 3 beds are the grey Trendelenburg button and grey Reverse Trendelenburg buttons. These buttons function by tilting the bed head down for Trendelenburg or up for Reverse Trendelenburg. Note: Bed profiling remains the same with Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg. For example, Reverse Trendelenburg helps to increase patient comfort and individual settings in a specific situation.
