To remove the footboard from the Eleganza 5, press the unlock button and lift the footboard up and away from the bed frame.

It is best practice to always leave one side of the footboard engaged in the end of the bed. 

The footboard can be removed when the bed is in the vascular position or in the examination position. Removing the footboard makes general foot care easier and more efficient for example, during heel assessments and dressing changes, etc. 

IMPORTANT! Remember to replace both ends of the footboard and press the lock button to secure firmly in place.
