The Eleganza 4 bed enables patients to be weighed in bed without compromising comfort and accuracy.

The built-in scale can be used to weigh the patient, follow the steps below:

1. Check that the patient is out of bed.
2. Zero the scale and make sure all standard linen and equipment are in place. 
3. Press any green go button to start.
4. Press and hold the “ZERO” button on the safety monitor, until a beep sound is heard and the weight change indicator flashes, to set the Eleganza 4 Scale to zero.
5. Release the button, press and hold the zero button again until another beep sound is heard, with the patient on the bed.
6. Allow the scale stability indicator to become solid and stop blinking to record the weight.
7. Display weight in kilograms or pounds by pressing and holding the “KG/LB” button changing depending on preferences.
8. Cancel zeroing the weight by pressing the “WEIGHT CLEAR” button until the weight flashes.
9. Ensure to press the freeze button before adding or changing bed accessories. 
10. Press and hold the freeze button and wait until the icon is displayed on the screen to start adding, removing, or changing bed items.

Note: The weight stability indicator will turn solid and show when it is good to press the freeze button again to display the original weight.
