The Eleganza 4 M panel is a visual device designed to signal safety statuses. It adds additional controls to the bed which is accessible to the nurse/carer.

There are four (4) safety components to the M panel:

1. Side rails
2. Head of bed
3. Height of bed
4. Brakes 

Note: To turn on, press and hold the corresponding safety icon until the yellow indicator light is OFF.

The M panel is linked to the safety monitor, with bed exit status and zone information available on the digital display. The bed picture on the display has independent illuminators for each safety component, all side rails in an upright position, head of bed 30 degrees or higher, bed height at lowest height, and brakes are locked. 

Digital display colour code:

• Grey - safety monitor is off
• White - safety monitor is on, safe
• Orange - status on, unsafe

Move the M panel as needed, anywhere on the Eleganza 4 bed frame, highly visible and accessible to nurses and carers. The M panel can be moved to different locations on the bed, maximising its use and adding to the Eleganza 4's versatility, helping caregivers visualise both inside and outside of the patient's room.
