Start mobilisation by pressing any green go button on the Accessory Control Panel (ACP) or the Nurse Control Panel.

To start with assisted patient mobilisation, press the “mobilisation” button on the Nurse Control Panel at the head of the bed. Press and hold the button until it reaches the desired height, and to help prepare for patient egress from the bed.

The mobilisation button adjusts the bed and puts it in its lowest position while raising the head section and straightening the knee section. 

Patients are recommended to use the ergonomic side rails found on either side of the bed, to make bed exit easier and safer. For the sit-to-stand transfer, the ergonomic side rails work as stable support handles that enable patients to get in position to sit up or stand up.

Using the Eleganza 4 Mobilisation Mobi-Lift, patients can use the handle as additional support that works with helping patient stability, and go from a sitting to a standing position with ease. 

Note: Lift the Mobi-Lift handle up and ensure it is locked in place before using. The mobi lift has a safety lock in place feature that provides ultimate stability when used effectively, making users more confident when working on mobility.

To adjust the height of the Eleganza 4 bed, and for patient ease of use, carer/nurse can use the built-in sit-to-stand feature, or assist the patient to use the feature while being guided.
