The Eleganza 4 I-Drive Power is an option that helps to facilitate patient transport.

To operate the I-Drive Power, unplug the bed and unlock the brakes. 

Activate the drive system by pressing the ON button located on the activation panel right below the headboard of the bed.

When the ON button is pressed, the fifth castor will activate and lower to the floor, right under the Eleganza 4 bed.

Place a hand on the I-Drive Power handle to begin. Double-check and ensure the palm makes full contact with the activation area.

The bed can be operated by pressing the respective control buttons:

• FWD - Forward
• REV - Reverse
• FFWD - Fast forward
• STOP DRIVE

The Eleganza 4 bed has a safety feature that requires a hand directly on the activation area while moving the bed and using the buttons to further move the bed. The I-Drive Power technology helps make adjusting to the desired position effortlessly.

With a hand directly in contact with the activation area, I-Drive Power provides an unparalleled level of control, making it the perfect choice for both patient and carer safety. 

To stop the bed, press the stop button or remove the hand from the activation area.
