Guidelines indicate how the carers or nursing staff should sit patients up at 30º to 45º. The Eleganza 4 - helps estimate the proper position and assists patients to sit up while in bed. 

The Eleganza 4 - 30°/45° STOP function helps nurses put patients in a sitting position without the need to accurately measure and adjust the bed manually.

The angle indicator allows nurses to quickly check and know the exact angle of the bed or estimate the proper position when needed. The sitting position or the standard Fowler's Position as its also known, improves breathing and provides a better gas exchange for patients in bed.

The continuous positioning backrest stops automatically at 30º to 45º. To continue positioning, however, release the button then press and hold again until the desired position or tilt is achieved.
