The Eleganza 4  Foot Board and Head Board can both be unlocked and lifted out of the way off the ends of the bed. Ensure one side of the footboard or headboard is still engaged with the bed frame for safe operation.

IMPORTANT! It is best practice for the footboard and headboard to remain engaged in the end of the bed frame for safety purposes.

The footboard can be removed when in vascular position or in the examination position of the bed for various procedures, among other tasks such as foot care, heel assessments, or dressing changes.

The headboard on the other hand can be removed during intubation, hair washing, shaving, etc.

Installing the head and foot end of the bed is easy. Place back both ends of the head or footboard and press the lock button into place. Ensure the boards are securely in place by double-checking installation.
