The steps listed can help with measure patient weight with the Eleganza 3:

• Start weight measurement by zeroing the scale.
• Ensure all standard linen and equipment are in place.
• Check the patient must be out of bed.
• Press any button to wake up the bed weighing scale system.
• Check that the stability indicator light is a solid green color.
• Press and hold the “ZERO” button until it beeps and the digital display flashes.
• Press the “ZERO” button again until the scale zeros and confirms.
• Place the patient in the bed and obtain weight by pressing “WEIGHT/CLEAR” button.
• Press the “lb/kg” button to choose and display weight in pounds or kilograms on the Eleganza 3 Scale.
• Use the “ZERO” button, if the button was pressed in error, press the “CLEAR” button again to resume the current weight display.
