The Eleganza 2 bed has a fifth castor, a smaller yet reliable, lockable wheel used during patient transfers.

To activate the fifth castor, press the brake and push down to put the bed in the “GO” position.

With the fifth castor, the bed has improved manoeuvrability and can be easily pushed and moved around with very little effort. 

The Eleganza 2 bed is now easier to move and push, in narrow spaces and long corridors. 

The fifth castor also helps with avoiding personnel torsional rotation when turning with the bed, and with preventing any work-related musculoskeletal disorders in the long run.
