The Eleganza 2 bed has a special 30° stop for your comfort, providing an ideal angle for reading and relaxing, among other activities.

According to guidelines, the nursing staff is supposed to sit the patient up from 30° to 45°. The sitting position or Fowler's position is a known way that helps improve breathing and better comfort provided for daily patient activities (eating, drinking, reading, and watching TV).

Eleganza 2 has a reliable 30° stop function, and while some beds are equipped with an automatic stop function, the Eleganza 2 has an angle indicator to help with recline adjustments. 

When sitting up, press the green GO button to start. Press the auto contour button to achieve the desired backrest height and perfect sitting position. It is highly recommended to use the auto contour button. 

Note: If the bed is equipped with automatic stop of backrest at 30° then the function also works on every control element, which allows backrest adjustment.
