Straight Drive Option using fifth wheel helps to keep the direction when driving/pushing down a long corridor or steering to turn.

A bed without a fifth wheel does not keep direction and can be difficult to steer.

Refer to the information below for the three possible configurations when operating Multicare X safely.

    1. Steering wheel - This option leaves the front left wheel locked, while brakes are set in go position.
    2. Mechanical fifth wheel - This option provides easy turns, with the brakes activated and in go position.
    3. Electric fifth wheel - This option is automatically used and retracted with the i-Drive power activation system.

All these options help improve manoeuvrability, prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders or injuries.
