The Multicare X beds have a two-step mechanism for opening the side rails.

To ensure patient safety, Multicare X side rail release can only be opened from the outside, providing an extra level of protection while ensuring patient comfort.

Patients are not able to open the side rails from the inside of the Multicare X bed to reduce the risk of injury.

Open the side rail by pushing towards the patient and pulling the release mechanism to unlock.
