How To | Latera - Vascular Position
Learn how to adjust the Latera bed and put the patient in a vascular position.
The Latera Vascular Position can be achieved by pressing the autocontour button until the desired position is attained. Furthermore, the calfrest can be adjusted manually. On the Accessory Control Panel (ACP), press the green GO button, then press and hold the autocontour button, to lastly adjust to the final vascular position by pressing the Trendelenburg button or Reverse Trendelenburg button depending on the patient’s positioning needs and condition.
Note: The vascular position, together with the Trendelenburg or reverse Trendelenburg positions can be the starting position when conducting a passive leg raise (PLR) test.
