Pivot slings are specially designed to be used with Pivot Frame attachments, and they are made from either polyester fabric or mesh material suitable for bathing. These slings are suitable for lifting patients in both sitting and lying positions, making them ideal for transfers onto and off of beds or floors.

The unique pivot feature of the Pivot Frame attachment, which has an anti-lock mechanism at the end of the boom, allows the entire frame to rock back and forth to assist with proper patient positioning. Additionally, the frame spreads the sling attachment points to avoid excessive hip flexion, which can cause discomfort for larger patients when using standard slings.

It is important to note that Pivot Slings should only be used with Pivot Frame attachments and should not be used with any other type of lifting equipment to ensure patient safety.
