The Eleganza 5 bed offers an electrical bed extension that can be adjusted via the ACP or Accessory Control Panel, based on the patient's comfort and convenience. 

The bed can extend up to 220mm, making it ideal for patients requiring extra room and with length depending on individual needs.

To start with bed extension, press any green GO button, and hold the Bed Extension button on the ACP until the required position is reached. 

When in the cardiac chair position and the bed is extended, there is a safety feature that prevents the bed from hitting the floor and will adjust on its own without any additional action. The safety feature works as added patient protection and prevents any possible bed damage.
