Available as an optional upgrade upon request, the Eleganza 2 beds can come fitted with an X-ray translucent backrest which consists of HPL, High Pressure Laminate material. The bed is equipped with an X-ray transparent backrest which provides a safe, reliable, and efficient method of image capture. Additionally, Eleganza 2 also comes with an X-ray cassette holder found under the backrest. 

The design allows the taking of X-ray images of the patient's lungs and upper body parts without manually moving the patient on and off the bed.

When conducting an X-ray examination, Eleganza 2 assists in obtaining the clearest possible imaging results. Ensure the backrest is put UP to insert the X-ray cassette by the wider side. Adjust and fix the position of the X-ray cassette as required, by using the slider. 

Note: Remember to always lock the slider in and use the safety pin to secure the X-ray cassette in place.
