All Linet beds including the Eleganza 2 have a two-step mechanism for opening the side rails. For patient safety and peace of mind, the side rails cannot be opened from the inside.

To open, push the upper edge of the side rail towards the patient and then pull the release mechanism of the side rail.

The side rail has a soft drop mechanism that lowers the rail safety, gently, and smoothly without making much noise and not disturbing the patient in any way.
