Among the many ways to control the Eleganza 1 bed and other Linet beds, the Handset is another way to make adjustments to and manage the bed with ease from the patient's side for basic controls. 

Buttons on the patient handset include the following:

• Green GO button
• Backrest UP button
• Backrest DOWN button
• Knee break UP button
• Knee break DOWN button
• Height adjustment buttons
• Auto contour buttons
• Flashlight button (needs configuration)

Note: The handset does not include lock buttons but does have an LED next to the function to work as an indicator and show which buttons were locked through the ACP or Accessory Control Panel.

For patient convenience, the Eleganza 1 handset can be plugged in from both sides of the bed. This allows the handset to be comfortably used and held by both right and left-handed patients.
