Electric Lift and Recline Mobile Shower Commode should be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth with a small quantity of standard household cleaning agent or surgical spirit. Wet wipes with anti-bacterial solutions may also be used.
Strong chemicals or abrasive agents must not be used.
Electric Lift and Recline Mobile Shower Commode can also be cleaned in a washing machine or tunnel. All parts on the chair are approved for this including electrical components.
It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the correct washing procedure is followed. Any other washing procedures may damage the chair.
Industrial high-pressure cleaning is not allowed. Crescent Healthcare recommends that the actuators are positioned in their innermost positions to avoid degreasing to piston rods.
Note: If the chair is used for more than one person, the chair MUST be thoroughly cleaned between users. The bedpan and lid can be cleaned in a bedpan washer or according to relevant regulations.
Note: Discoloration and extra wear might occur on various parts when cleaned several times by washing machine
Lubrication:
The piston on both the lifting and tilting actuator should be lubricated once a month with Vaseline or thin oil.
