How To | Multicare X - Brakes
Learn about the benefits of MultiCare X brakes for your bed, make an informed decision when it comes to choosing the right brakes.
For patient and carer safety, the Multicare X has a central brake to activate and deactivate the bed brakes.
Three brake positions:
- Stop - brakes are activated and the bed will not move. It is not possible to move the bed in any direction, no matter which way it is pushed.
- Neutral - there are no brakes on all castors. With the unbraked wheels, it is now possible to move the bed in every direction.

Go - there are no brakes on all castors, but one is steering. The steering castor can either be the front left wheel or the fifth castor is activated.
- Note: The Go position doesn't allow the bed to be moved sideways.
