The TOM 2 is designed for children with a fully electrically operated bed that incorporates a modern design and features perfect for any paediatric environment. With a Trendelenburg inclination, the TOM 2 allows for improved positioning and comfort during treatments.

With the Trendelenburg comes the Reverse Trendelenburg tilt feature which can be used and controlled with the same buttons found on the mini accessory control panel of the TOM 2.

To operate TOM 2 Trendelenburg/Reverse Trendelenburg, follow these steps:

    1. Check that the backrest is lowered. Note: In case of an emergency, the quickest way to lower the backrest can be accomplished by using the CPR handle.
    2. Press the power button, and backrest down button until the bed is flat.
    3. Press the Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg button on TOM 2 mini ACP to raise and lower the bed as needed.

For a more detailed explanation of how to perform the TOM 2 Trendelenburg, watch the video below.
