    STOP NEUTRAL GO

The TOM 2 is a fully electrically operated bed made especially for children's comfort and safety. With safety features such as a steering and brake system, the TOM 2 ensures that patients can enjoy a safe and comfortable sleep.

The TOM 2 has a central brake system to activate the brake when stopping and deactivate or stay in a neutral position for general repositioning or go position when steering.

    Brake Positions:

    1.  STOP
    2. NEUTRAL
    3. GO

    STOP

When the brakes are activated, they stop the bed from moving in all directions. The STOP position makes it impossible to move the bed at all. No amount of push can make the bed move in the STOP position, the bed remains absolutely immobile. The TOM 2 brake system ensures the bed is in one position until the need to change positions arises.

    NEUTRAL

When the brakes are not activated, the wheels can rotate freely to make moving effortless. The NEUTRAL position makes it possible to move the TOM 2 bed in ALL directions. All castors are able to move and rotate freely without the need to activate and deactivate, making adjustments easy and efficient.

    GO

When the bed is in the GO position, there is one castor that steers the bed, which is typically the front left, or the fifth castor is activated. The GO position enables the bed to be steered easier with the TOM 2 Steering system. The GO position stops the bed from moving in all directions/sideways, making the TOM 2 bed go in one direction and steered easily for additional control.
