The seat and backrest can be removed to make cleaning easier.

The seat is removed by lifting the front of the seat. It is mounted again by sliding it up against the rear square tube (1) and pressing downwards on the front (2) as seen in the figure. 

The backrest is removed by opening the 4 buckles. The straps can be used to adjust the tension of the backrest, so it fits the user.
