According to guidelines, nursing staff are supposed to sit the patients up to 30-45 degrees.

The Fowler position, or the sitting position, is known to improve breathing and provides better gas exchange.

Usually, it isn't always possible to measure bed recline accurately or the exact degree.

The Multicare X bed has a feature to set the beds to their proper position with the 30 and 45-degree stop functions.

The stop functions work for all, for every control element that allows backrest adjustment, this could be on the multiboard X LCD,  accessory control panel (ACP), handset, or via bedside controls.

It is highly recommended to use the auto contour button and check the angle degree on the positioning screen and on the home screen.

Check the icon on the home screen which turns green when the bed angle is at the right angle of either 30 or 45 degrees.
