The Latera bed Autocontour (Autoregression) is a built-in feature/function designed to prevent the patient from sliding downwards while in bed.

Autocontour/autoregression helps reduce sheering, as well as create more space in the pelvic area. Press the green GO button, press and hold the autocontour button to start. Continue pressing the autocontour button until the desired bed position is achieved. 

With the autocontour button, the bed will raise the backrest and knee brake simultaneously for the best and most comfortable sleeping position while using the Latera bed.
