Before engaging the cardiac chair option, ensure all side rails are raised. Press the green go button, then press and hold the chair button until the head of the bed reaches the highest angle or just as high as the patient can tolerate.

Improve patient comfort and ensure the position is comfortable for the patient by adjusting the head of the bed as well as the knee and foot of the bed.
