The cardiac chair position can be part of an early mobilisation process.

1. Start by checking if all side rails are raised. 
2. Check the ACP or Accessory Control Panel, and press the green GO button to start. 
3. Press and hold the chair button until the Eleganza 1 chair position reaches its highest angle or as high as the patient can tolerate based on the patient's comfort.
   • Note: The Cardiac Chair position has known pulmonary benefits for patients.
4. Improve patient comfort with the Eleganza 1 Cardiac Chair position by lowering and adjusting the head of the bed, or by adjusting the knee and foot sections further.
