The AVE 2 birthing bed supports safer and more active birth. The bed foot section can be manoeuvred in three different ways using the handles located on the underside of the frame.

Adjusting the angle

For example, to adjust the angle of the foot section of the bed, lift the handles located on the underside of the frame to tilt. Grasp the handle on the far RIGHT side of the foot section towards the end of the bed and push up to increase the angle or push down to decrease the angle. 

Adjusting the height

The height of the AVE 2 birthing bed foot section can be adjusted further by grasping the MIDDLE handle of the foot section and pushing it up or down to raise or lower.

Adjusting for storage or use

When in its lowest position, the Foot Section of the AVE 2 Birthing Bed, can be stored under the bed by holding onto the handle located on the far LEFT and pushing forward until the foot section is securely tucked away. The same can be done to the foot section when it is needed back in place. Grasp or hold onto the handle again and pull the handle forward until the foot section is in the right position.
